The letter concludes with a long list of festivities which are to take place in honour of her visit. Following on these, they journeyed to Kirkley, Mr. Ogle’s seat, whither it was originally intended they should travel direct but were deterred from so doing by the hospitality offered _en route_. As a matter of fact their stay at Kirkley was a short one, due to the same cause which had prevented their earlier arrival.
