De la giostra era il prezzo un'armatura
che fu donata al re pochi dì inante,
che su la strada ritrovò a ventura,
ritornando d'Armenia, un mercatante.
Il re di nobilissima testura
le sopraveste all'arme aggiunse, e tante
perle vi pose intorno e gemme ed oro,
che la fece valer molto tesoro.
