1When Daffadils begin to peere,
2With heigh the Doxy ouer the dale,
3Why then comes in the sweet o’the yeere,
4For the red blood raigns in y4 winters pale.
5The white sheete bleaching on the hedge,
6With hey the sweet birds, O how they sing:
7Doth set my pugging tooth an edge,
8For a quart of Ale is a dish for a King.
