2Elianor, the Law thou seest hath iudged thee,
3I cannot iustifie whom the Law condemnes:
4Mine eyes are full of teares, my heart of griefe.
5Ah Humfrey, this dishonor in thine age,
6Will bring thy head with sorrow to the ground.
7I beseech your Maiestie giue me leaue to goe;
8Sorrow would sollace, and mine Age would ease.
