Dato che fu de la battaglia il segno,
nove guerrier l'aste chinaro a un tratto:
ma quel dal nero ebbe il vantaggio a sdegno;
si ritirò, né di giostrar fece atto.
Vuol ch'alle leggi inanzi di quel regno,
ch'alla sua cortesia, sia contrafatto.
