Quando apparir Zerbin si vide appresso
la donna che da lui fu amata tanto,
la bella donna che per falso messo
credea sommersa, e n'ha più volte pianto;
com'un ghiaccio nel petto gli sia messo,
sente dentro aggelarsi, e triema alquanto:
